Wow. I just realized I haven't posted anything substantial in a while. Other than memes. XP That's 'cuz I guess I just really don't ever have anything important to say. Which is pretty much why I'm mostly on Twitter. lol. XD

I darkened up my journal again, and made a new header. :)Thought the ole' journal was due for a change. :P

I actually got to have FUN this year for Halloween! :D :D :D

Only had to stay at work from 1:30 to 5:15, then went to my cousin's house. We ordered a pizza, pigged out, then took the pup and went for a walk around the neighborhood to see all the decorations and people in costumes. Then after that we decided to go to Twin River casino. It was the first time I'd gone, and it was a blast! I only spent $20 as planned, got really lucky a few times and was +$60 at my highest point, then wound up minus $7. *shrugs* I still took home $12 of my original $20, and it was a blast. :D

BEST. HOLIDAY. EVER!!!! :D :D :D



I'm supposed to be getting half the night off work, but considering we don't have a dishwasher atm, as far as I know... we'll see. *sigh* I will be extreeeeeeeeemely pissed if I don't get to leave, though. That's all I can say. Like, murderously pissed. After all I went through trying to get tonight off. Like, 'fuck you, I'm outta here then' pissed.

Today I finished my video for Original Skateboard's Longboard Costume Contest. :) It's silly and stupid, and I'm such a dork, but here it is:

I'm watching "Hocus Pocus" on ABCfamily. lol. This movie is still awesome! :D I love it! And when the beginning came on, I just realized that Sean Murray (Tim McGee from NCIS) is Thackary Binx! lol. :) :) :)

New SGU and Sanctuary tonight! I hafta say, I've been more excited about SGU, but I think that's also 'cuz I haven't seen all of season one of Sanctuary.

The sucky part? I have to wait 'till after work to watch both of them. :( That means I'll catch the encore of SGU at 11, and Sanctuary at 12. Too bad I gotta work. :( Bummer.

Anyways, life updates are as follows: (gonna make this brief)

-Failed my 1st Oceanography test. x_0;
-Got a 93 on my last math test.
-Got an A on my poetry for Comp. II English
-Have the house to myself 'till Monday night. Mom n' Bobby are in Florida.
-Gotta work this whole weekend. *sigh*
-May not even get half day at work that I was supposed to get to be free Halloween night. ARG.

I think that's it for now.

Okay, I've really been in the mood for kidfic the past couple days. So, that being said, anyone got any good recs for some Jack or Jack and Sam kidfic?? Pwetty pwease? Drama, angsty, funny, I really don't care.
I've already pretty much read all the wonderful kidfic from Gemsong, but I have a hard time finding good kidfic elsewhere, that isn't all about little!Daniel.
Edit: By kidfic, I mean where Jack, or Jack and Sam have been downsized themselves.

Went mushrooming in my uncle's woods yesterday morning with Mom's bf and his son, Rob. It was pretty fun, actually. I love the woods. And guess what? I found a TORTOISE! Otherwise known as an Eastern Box Turtle. XD
Here's a pic of him I named him Shroomy. I didn't keep him, though. I just took him home to show Mom, and brought him back. We only live less than half a mile away.
Rob thinks it's funny that I'm always finding animals and just picking them up. Later at work it was a salamander. They're so CUTE! XD

Seriously, I am a creep magnet.

Today, waiting outside the lab, here goes a brief encounter with the socially awkward creepo that's in both my Oceanography, and my Comp II English class:

Creep: *annoying nasally creepo voice* Green instead of purple, today. What's the occasion?
Me: *blank look* "What?"
Creep: *stares at me*
Me: Um, I felt like it?

Wednesday I had on a purple hoodie, and today it was a green one. But seriously, WTF. Why are you keeping track of what I'm wearing, kid?! x_0;
This kid is like Hannibal Lecter creepy. He spouts off random bits of information, and I think he's too smart for his own good. Book smart, though. 'Cuz he's obviously not 'social' smart. Not saying that I'm a social butterfly or anything, but I don't go around spouting off whatever comes to mind.
